What is Dysport?
Dysport, a product like Botox, was approved by the FDA in April 2009 for temporarily smoothing wrinkles in the upper face. It has been used abroad for a long time and is still relatively new to the U.S. Dysport contains botulinum toxin A, the same ingredient as Botox. It’s most effective in treating the expression of wrinkles caused by muscles around the eyes, forehead, and mouth.
